After interviewing the artist Jenny Feal and the designer Susel Aleman Legra, you will now listen to the researcher and thinker Ernesto Oroza with whom we talked about Cuban production. Ernesto received a design education but he doesn’t wish to be called only that. His inventory called Objets réinventés – reinvented objects – co-directed with Penelope De bozzi was a true eye-opener during my design studies. Now he’s the head of the ESADSE post-diploma, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to interview him in order to share his accurate and striking vision. Together we’ve been talking about the 90’s production in Cuba which is at the heart of his approach, about the history of design, about reinvented objects, architecture of necessity and design research.
