Prince William bails on memorial for his godfather - "personal reasons" - Kate said to be OK

An interesting development earlier today. Prince WIlliam pulled out of attending the memorial service this morning for his godfather King Constantine of Greece. The ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, half a mile from William and Kate’s residence at Adelaide Cottage. William had been scheduled to deliver a reading during the ceremony. However, Prince Pavlos, the son of King Constantine, stepped in to fulfill the role. It is reported that William personally contacted the Greek royal family to inform them of his inability to participate. Prince William's office did not say why the change of plans, other than it's a "personal matter". They did say Kate continues to be "doing well".
