Welcome to the BMS podcast! I'm Rafael, a French-Peruvian osteopath based in Paris and a Research Affiliate at the A.T. Still Research Institute (USA). With a research background (h-index 12), my work now focuses on how sociocultural and experiential factors shape body representations, with particular attention to non-materialistic worldviews rooted in long-standing Indigenous healing traditions that extend beyond the biological body as understood in Western culture. This podcast aims to advance integrative, evidence-informed, and person-centered healthcare while promoting diverse perspectives
